Join us for ResearchComp Community Café #3: Discover why HR Excellence matters & help shape the Repository, taking place on 22 October 2026.

The third session of the ResearchComp Community Café series will put HR Excellence in Research at the centre of the conversation. Led by CROSS project partners The Cyprus Institute and Bantani Education, the Café will explore the institutional benefits of the HR Excellence in Research Award, bring together experiences from awarded institutions, and offer participants the opportunity to explore and provide feedback on the HR Excellence in Research Repository currently being developed by the CROSS project.

What are the ResearchComp Community Cafés?

The Cafés are an online space hosted by the ResearchComp Community of Practice, a Europe-wide network created under the CROSS project, which aims to foster collaboration and support research careers across Europe.

The Café will:

• Explore the HR Excellence in Research Award through a short presentation on its purpose and institutional benefits.
• Hear from awarded institutions, including The Cyprus Institute, the Heyrovský Institute and Charles University, who will share their experiences and perspectives.
• Discover and test the HR Excellence in Research Repository, an online resource being developed by the CROSS project to support institutions working towards or implementing the Award.
• Share feedback and experiences to help shape the Repository.

The interactive part of the session is particularly aimed at institutions interested in the HR Excellence in Research Award. However, the Café is open to all members of the ResearchComp Community of Practice. Whether you are directly involved in HR Excellence in Research or work in a related area, you are very welcome to join the discussion, exchange experiences and contribute your perspective.
