Conference Research Careers without Borders

Turning European research career policies into practice.
How can we make research careers more attractive, sustainable and accessible across sectors and borders? How can universities, research organisations and industry work together to create better opportunities for researchers?
Join us for two days of insightful discussions, practical examples and shared experiences on how to turn European research career policies into institutional practice.
The conference will bring together representatives of the European Commission, universities, research organisations, industry, policymakers and European projects working to improve research careers.
Registration is now open
Why join us?
Europe has developed ambitious frameworks and initiatives to support research careers, including the European Charter for Researchers and the European Competence Framework for Researchers.
But how can these principles and frameworks be translated into meaningful changes at the institutional level?
Organised within the CROSS project, the conference Research Careers without Borders will explore practical approaches, tools and experiences that help bridge the gap between European policy and everyday institutional practice.
Our ambition is to go beyond policy discussions and project presentations. We want participants to leave with concrete ideas, practical tools and inspiration they can apply within their own organisations.
